You will not get the outdoor events as Awakened if you have not unlocked it. To unlock it you must complete storylines tied to those events.
To get TIme Rift awakened, you have to complete the Forbidden Reach Storyline.
To get Research under fire event awakened, you must complete the start of the Zaralek Cavern storyline until you unlock world quests there.
To get cache from the world boss in Zaralek Cavern you must complete the start of the Zaralek Cavern storyline until you unlock world quests there.
