The iconic Deathwing mount from the 15th-anniversary event is making a comeback in Patch 11.0.5. You can acquire the Obsidian Worldbreaker from Storekeeper Reginald in Tanaris for 20 Bronze Tokens!
Deathwing Returns in Patch 11.0.5: Obsidian Worldbreaker Mount Available Again
Rejoice, fans of the legendary Deathwing mount! In the upcoming War Within Patch 11.0.5, players will once again have the chance to obtain the Obsidian Worldbreaker, the formidable Deathwing mount originally introduced during World of Warcraft’s 15th Anniversary.
During our venture into Tanaris on the Patch 11.0.5 PTR, we found that Storekeeper Reginald is offering this iconic mount for 20 Bronze Celebration Tokens.
The Journey of the Obsidian Worldbreaker Mount
Initially, the Obsidian Worldbreaker was exclusive to the 15th-anniversary event. It later appeared on the Black Market Auction House (BMAH), leaving many players disappointed as they couldn't secure it. However, following Blizzard’s release of the Azure Worldchiller—a frost-themed variant introduced during last year's anniversary event—there was a renewed push from the community for the original Deathwing mount's return.
With Blizzard's attentiveness to player demand, the release of Patch 11.0.5 now allows players to finally claim their own Obsidian Worldbreaker and soar through the skies, channeling the destructive power of Deathwing himself.
