In the upcoming Patch 11.0.7, players will be thrilled to discover that Humans and Kul Tiran characters will now have access to new Arathi-style pointed ear customizations! This addition is sure to enhance the character creation experience, allowing players to further personalize their avatars.
Embrace Your New Look
The new Arathi ear customizations can be accessed at the Barber Shop, where players can easily modify their characters' appearances. This is particularly exciting for role-playing enthusiasts, as these pointed ears are inspired by elven heritage and were first uncovered during the datamining of The War Within beta. The pointed ear style, which reflects the unique cultural identity of the Arathi, is a significant step in celebrating their rich lore.
A Nod to Arathi Heritage
The pointed ears are particularly emblematic of the Arathi people of Hallowfall, who embrace their mixed half-elven lineage while firmly identifying as Arathi. As Lerrenai Fayn eloquently states, "Legend says that when the Arathi first settled at our home, we were two peoples: humans and the high elves who joined them to help teach magic." This historical unity formed the foundation of the Arathi Empire, highlighting their deep-rooted connection to both human and elven cultures. The sentiment is echoed by Alleria Windrunner, who expresses her fierce protective instincts towards the Arathi, saying, "I look at these Arathi and see my son. I will slaughter every nerubian in my path to keep them from harm."
