Fastest way to Farm Flame-Blessed Iron currency in 11.0.7

In the Siren Isle, you will have various different sources that will give you different amounts of Flame-Blessed Iron. In general, everything on the island (more or less) drop this currency. The harder content, the more currency. 

One relatively new system has been implemented in WoW when it comes to currency drop. Some sources will drop a lesser amount of the currency if looting it again on the same day and sometimes same week. 

There are two good ways you can farm this currency. 

Elite Rares

There are 3 types of elite rares on the island. These elite rares must be spawned via a contribution table in the camp. Once the contribution reaches 100%, you will get access to a cave in which the elite rare will be. Once an elite rare is killed, it will take 5 minutes for the contribution table to be active again for that cave, and then you can contribute again and activate the elite rare again. It takes approx 2 min for the cave to be available once activated. 

Each rare will drop 180 Flame-Blessed Iron on the first kill of the day, when on the same character. After that, they will always drop 90 Flame-Blessed Iron. 

The tactic here is to fly around these 3 rares and kill them as soon as they are up. You do not have to contribute to get loot from them, so basically, let other players contribute and be ready to reach the rare once it is up. 

Since it will be 5 min to activate the rare again, plus 2 min of waiting time once activated and some minute to kill the rare, you will have time to kill the other 2 elite rares in between. So if you plan this good, there will barely be any dead time. 

In general, during a window of 10 minutes, you will get 270 Flame-Blessed Iron (killing 3 elite rares). That will give you over 1600 Flame-Blessed Iron per hour. 

Another tactic here can be to stay on the same area where one of the elite rares will spawn. Then open your group finder and look for any kind of group activities in Siren Isle and join them. Once you join one, check if the rare is active and if it is, you have joined a group on another server. So basically, you are server hopping. After you kill the rare, check the group finder again and join another group that is doing some kind of group activity in the Siren Isle. Make sure that the elite rare is up when joining a new group and kill it and loot it. Rinse repeat. 

In general, during a window of 10 minutes, you will kill approx 5 elite rares. Meaning 2700  Flame-Blessed iron per hour. 

The Storm

When in the storm phase, you will see other types of creatures on the island, and also, many more of them. These mobs are non-elites and elites. Make a farm group for killing all mobs in the storm phase. 

You will also get access to borrowed power in the storm phase. On the first week, you will get access to a bomb that does very high dmg and can be use frequently. Later on in the patch, you will get access to cooler gadgets and even a machine that you will control and reck havoc. This will speed up the killing and looting.
