How to attack the Hirukon Rare

Go to location 51.73, 74.38 (see map)
The rare is under the water, near the wall

How to attack Hirukon

  1. You need a Strange Goop.
    This is fished up in Zereth Mortis on this location.


  2. When you have the Strange Goop.
    Travel to this location in Maldraxxus.
    Talk to Lady Vashj.
    She wants 3 items and in exchange she will make a lure that you use to fish up the Rare Hirukon.The items are:
    - Pungent Blobfish
    - Flipper Fish
    - Coilclutch Vine


  3. Pungent Blobfish
    Head to Outlands, Zangramarsh.
    Enter the water in Coilfang Reservoir and swim through the pipe.
    Once you are out of the water, you will see a fishing school. Fish there and you get the Pungent Blobfish.
  4. Flipper Fish
    Head to Nazjatar (BFA). See map. 73.24
    Fish up the Flipper Fish from the fishing school.
  5. Coilclutch Vine
    Head to Vashjír (cataclysm)
    Go to the area called Shimmering Expanse.
    Once there, swim down to the buildings and head to the balcony on 34.75
    This is an item that you pick up.
  6. Head back to Lady Vashj in Maldraxxus again and turn in the items and she gives you Aurelid Lure.

  7. Head to Zereth Mortis where Hirukon is.
    Go to location 51.73, 74.38 (see map)

    The rare is under the water, near the wall

  • Use the item Aurelid Lure and you get a 15 min buff which let´s you see a fishing school. That´s where you fish up Hirukon.
