How the DRIVE CAR (D.R.I.V.E) actually works and how to unlock ALL Modifications

In World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, players will be introduced to a new vehicle called D.R.I.V.E., which stands for Dynamic and Revolutionary Improvements to Vehicular Experiences. This new form of ground mount is designed specifically for the newly unveiled area of Undermine, the capital of the Goblin Trade Empire.

The D.R.I.V.E. car is exclusively available for driving within the newly introduced area of Undermine

Can we drive the car outside of Undermine later?

As of now, there is no information regarding the possibility of using the D.R.I.V.E. car in other locations in the future. For the time being, players will need to take advantage of this innovative vehicle solely within the vibrant environment of Undermine. Stay tuned for any updates that may reveal further opportunities to drive the D.R.I.V.E. car beyond its current limits!

How to get the G-99 Breakneck car?

Quest from Gas Grimeshank in the Incontinental Hotel (/way 42.69, 51.18).

Quest activated after completing Eyes from Above in the main storyline. Part of Chapter 2.

How/Where do I modify the car?

You need to talk to an NPC in a garage in Undermine. This NPC is called and located at /way

What can I change on the car?

You will have the ability to modify various aspects of this car, allowing for increased speed, improved acceleration, and options for car color. The car will start with a standard variant, and you must find the rest in order to unlock and choose the other options for your car. There are 4 modifications you can do:

Car paint color
Engine
Wheels
Turbo

Car Paint color

In total, there are 5 different colors that you can choose between.

Paint: Redlining Red

You unlock this when reaching Exalted with the BilgeWater Cartel, and then you can buy it from the BilgeWater Quartermaster vendor.

Paint: Goblin Green

You unlock this when reaching Exalted with the Steamwheedle Cartel, and then you can buy it from the Steamwheedle Quartermaster vendor.

Paint: Yellow Cake

You unlock this when reaching Exalted with the Venture Company Cartel, and then you can buy it from the Venture Company Quartermaster vendor.

Paint: Body Roll Blue

You unlock this when reaching Exalted with the Blackwater Cartel, and then you can buy it from the Blackwater Quartermaster vendor.

Engine

The engine has 3 selections that you can choose between to modify it.

Engine: The Pozzik Standard

Average top speed.

Average acceleration.

This is the engine you get at start.

Engine: G77c Ultra

Decreasers top speed

Increases acceleration

Not known yet.

Engine: GNZ Airmaster 9000

Increases top speed.

Decreases acceleration

You will be rewarded with this engine once you reach renown 19 with the Cartels of Undermine.

You buy it from the Renown quartermaster.

Wheels

The wheels have 3 selections that you can choose between to modify it.

You will modify the wheels to change how you will drift.

Wheels: Tread-B-Gon

Average grip while drifting

These are the wheels you get at start.

Wheels: 22H Slicks

Grip while drifting increased.

You will be rewarded with these wheels once you reach renown 5 with the Cartels of Undermine. You buy it from the Renown quartermaster.

Wheels: GE86 Advance

Grip while drifting decreased.

You can buy this from the scrap vendor Angelo Rustbin /way 25.66, 38.12

He sells it for 1 Vintage Kaja Cola Can.

You need to reach Renown 14 in order to loot Vintage Kaja Cola Can during scrapping.

Turbo

The turbo has 3 selections that you can choose between to modify it.

You will modify the turbo to change how much you speed when using turbo and how much of the turbo bar you will use when using turbo.

Turbo: Wildfuel Mk.0

Average boost speed.

This is the turbo you get at start.

Turbo Handcrank

Boost speed decreased
Boost efficiency increased

You have to get several items and combine to make this item. The items that needs to be combined are dropped from rares in the undermine. These items are also bind on equipped, meaning that you can buy it from the Action House.

The horn have 5 selections that you can choose between to modify it.

You will modify the sound of the horn based on which one you select. Also, each one will also have different sounds.

Horn Basic

This is the horn you get at start.

Horn: Blackwater

You need to reach Honored with Blackwater Cartel to unlock it from the Blackwater Cartel Vendor.

Horn: BilgeWater

You need to reach Honored with BilgeWater Cartel to unlock it from the BilgeWater Cartel Vendor.

Horn: Steamwheedle

You need to reach Honored with Steamwheedle Cartel to unlock it from the Steamwheedle Cartel Vendor.

Horn: Venture Company

You need to reach Honored with Venture Company Cartel to unlock it from the Venture Company Cartel Vendor.
