The Severed Threads Nerub-ar Palace buff is officially live, offering players an exciting opportunity to gain bonus damage and healing. To take advantage of this buff, players need to gather 16 Nerub-ar Finery, which can be turned in to Anub-azal at the beginning of the raid. In return, you'll receive 75 Kej Kej as a reward, along with an update on your buff status.
It's important to note that while the tooltip may not reflect the change accurately—staying stuck at 0%—the damage and healing boost is functioning as intended.
Through various tests conducted both inside and outside the raid, it has been confirmed that the Severed Strands buff provides a 2.25% damage increase every other week. There was some confusion regarding a datamined figure of 3%, which has now been clarified to be incorrect; the original figure of 2.25% from the Blue Post remains valid. As a result, this buff is expected to cap at 18% during the week of January 21st.
How to Collect Nerub-ar Finery
Players should keep in mind that Nerub-ar Finery can be obtained once per boss per Warband each week. This is unless there have been recent changes. Mythic bosses will yield 2 Nerub-ar Finery per encounter, with an additional drop for players who have defeated a lower difficulty. Be sure to strategize your raid runs to maximize your rewards!
