In this weekly reset we got some changes to the rares in Forbidden Reach, you can now get Storm Sigils.
Storm Sigils are used for upgrading 359 ilvl Storm Gear to 385.
There is a vendor in Valdrakken and also in Morqut Village that sells 359 ilvl gear. You can basically choose what gear slot you want to buy and then upgrade it to 385 ilvl.
The Storm Sigils drop from the 16 Rares that you can see in the Forbidden Reach. Profession Rares (the 13 hidden Rares) are not part of it. I killed and looted 5 profession rares without looting any Storm Sigils.
The drop chance on Storm Sigils are not 100%. You get too loot Storm Sigil at around every 3rd rare.
It seems that you can only get one Storm Sigil when you loot it from a rare. Not much, but it seems that the purpose is "bad-luck-protection".
