The War Within Raid Testing

The schedule for Nerub-ar Palace includes multiple testing sessions for various difficulty levels and encounters.

Accessing the Raid Zone:

  • Players in Dornogal, Orgrimmar, or Stormwind can speak to Nexus-Lord Donjon Rade V to teleport into the raid zone during testing sessions. It's important to note that the option to teleport into the zone will not be available when the zone is not open for testing.

Character and Item Level for Testing:

  • Any character can be used for raid testing, with the effective level scaled to 80 and the item level adjusted to an appropriate threshold for the encounters being tested.

Duration of Testing:

  • The primary purpose of testing is to gather information for balancing encounters, evaluating mechanics, and identifying bugs. Once the necessary information for a given boss is obtained, testing will be shut down. Testing sessions typically range from 45 minutes to 2 hours.

Reporting Feedback or Bugs:

  • Encounter feedback threads will be posted each week prior to the start of raid tests, and players can also submit feedback through the in-game Issue Reporter tool.
