GEAR up the FIRST week in 10.2

Since the weekly cap is 6 upgrades for each crest, you have to think freaking 5-head on how to gear up the best way on the first week of 10.2 before season 3 goes live. 

FIRST - GET 437 FAST and EASY

Before you start getting the best gear of the first week, make sure you have  a full set of at least 415 ilvl (Explorer Gear). You upgrade this gear after you have collected the other gear on this guide. This gear is upgraded with only FLIGHTSTONES. You should already be capped on Flightstones before 10.2 goes live. This is a must PREP. To farm 2k and to get more, just do fast Heroic Mega dungeon runs around (250 Flightstones per run).

Heroic Dungeon Rank 1/8 Adventurer, 428 ilvl

CRAFT ONE 460 ilvl GEAR

Sparks of Dreams is the new Spark that will be available the first week. The ilvl ranges between: 447 - 460 ilvl (you will be able to upgrade this crafted gear to 483 when season 3 starts). 

NOW - IT´s TIME TO 5-HEAD UPGRADE YOUR GRADE

The amount of each crest type that you can farm has a cap. 

The cap works like this:

  • you can upgrade gear 6 times per crest type. - Dreaming Whelpling Crests x90- Dreaming Drake Crest x90

There is also 15 Whelpling Crests that you get from a side quest that are not part of the weekly cap.

Rank 1-4 (441 - 450 ilvl) 15 Dreaming Whelpling Crests per upgrade

How many Crests can you farm on the first week? 

Whelpling Crests

You can farm all the way and cap the first week. The come from treasures in the Emerald Dream. 

  • 15 when reaching Renown 4 with Dream Wardens. 
  • Treasures in the Emerald Dream rewards Whelpling Crests

Drake Crests

You can farm all the way and cap the first week. 

  • Superbloom rewards 5 Drake Crests once a week. 
  • Weekly Quest Worthy Ally:  Dream Wardens rewards 15. 
  • 15 from reaching Renown 8. 
  • Drake Crests are rewarded based on if you have nurtured enough on dreamseeds (Emerald Bounty)
  • You get 15 from reaching Renown 19.
