Season 1 Launch: Heroic Dungeon Item Level Boost

With the arrival of Season 1, Heroic Dungeons are set to receive a boost in item levels, enhancing the rewards for players diving into these challenges.

Overview of Season 1 Changes

Pre-Season vs. Season 1 Rewards

During the Pre-Season, Heroic Dungeons offered rewards at an item level of 571 on the Adventurer Track. However, with the launch of Season 1, these rewards will see an increase, now dropping at item level 580 on the same track. This change provides players with a more rewarding experience as they progress through the dungeons.Additionally, Heroic Dungeons will contribute to the Great Vault rewards, with players needing to complete 1, 4, and 8 dungeons to unlock all available slots. The Great Vault slots for Heroic Dungeons will offer rewards at item level 593 on the Veteran track. This Veteran gear can be transformed into Tier Set pieces using the Catalyst throughout the season.

Comparison to Other Dungeon Difficulties

Season 1 officially kicks off on September 10th, bringing with it the availability of Mythic Dungeons and Normal and Heroic Raids. The Mythic+ and Mythic Raid content will open the following week, on September 17th. While players anticipate these stronger gearing sources, Heroic Dungeons remain valuable for gearing due to their repeatable nature, unlike Mythics, which are on a daily lockout.Here's a quick comparison of the item levels across different dungeon difficulties:
