The War Within Weekly Dungeon Event: Complete 4 Dungeons for a Heroic Nerub-ar Palace Loot Cache!

This week marks the launch of the inaugural Dungeon Event for The War Within, providing players with the chance to earn additional loot from normal, heroic, and base Mythic dungeons. By completing the weekly quest, adventurers can also secure a Heroic Cache filled with Nerubian Treasures!

Weekly Dungeon Quest Details

While the updated quest indicates that players can tackle dungeons on Heroic difficulty, it's important to note that earlier expansion dungeons, such as Siege of Boralus, will not contribute towards quest completion.

Although the extra loot from the final bosses in Mythic+ dungeons is not included, players can still finish these dungeons to fulfill the weekly quest requirements. Those seeking normal, heroic, or base Mythic gear will be delighted to find an increased loot drop rate throughout the week. This is particularly beneficial for players engaging in base Mythic dungeons, as the shift to a daily lockout makes them much more accessible for farming loot.

However, keep in mind that due to the recent dungeon difficulty adjustments, base Mythic dungeons are now more challenging than in previous expansions. If you're inexperienced with dungeons in The War Within, make sure to prepare accordingly! Additionally, while the Sign of the Warrior buff in effect this week carries over from the last expansion and still mentions Dragonflight, it’s crucial to remember that those dungeons will not count towards your quest completion.
