This Weekly Bonus Event (Feb 21): Mists of Pandaria Timewalking

Prepare to embark on an exciting journey back in time as World of Warcraft introduces the Mists of Pandaria Timewalking event. For a limited time, players will have the opportunity to explore six iconic dungeons from the Mists of Pandaria expansion, reaping new rewards and experiencing challenging encounters. 

The Timewalking Experience

To participate in the Mists of Pandaria Timewalking event, simply open the Group Finder (default hotkey: "I") and select Dungeon Finder and Timewalking from the "Type" dropdown menu. Clicking on "Find Group" will match you with other players, and together, you will venture into one of six Heroic Dungeons:

  1. Temple of the Jade Serpent
  2. Stormstout Brewery
  3. Shado-Pan Monastery
  4. Mogu'shan Palace
  5. Scholomance
  6. Gate of the Setting Sun

Scaling and Rewards

During Timewalking, your character's power level will be scaled down to match the challenge at hand. However, the bosses you defeat will still drop loot appropriate for your natural level. In addition, there is a chance to obtain items that usually drop when running these dungeons on Heroic difficulty. Furthermore, completing Timewalking dungeons will earn you reputation with a faction that holds a particular interest in the dungeon.

Visit Mistweaver Xia

Located on the Timeless Isle, Mistweaver Xia, a new Timewalking vendor, eagerly awaits your arrival. In exchange for Timewarped Badges, earned through participating in the event, Mistweaver Xia offers a variety of enticing rewards, including:

  1. Reins of the Heavenly Jade Cloud Serpent: Ride into the skies on the majestic Yu'lei, Daughter of Jade mount.
  2. Two new Pets: Infinite Hatchling (dragonkin) and Paradox Spirit (aquatic).
  3. Reputation Tokens: Boost your standing with all major Pandaria factions and acquire friendship items.
  4. Two Toys: Adopted Puppy Crate and Portable Yak Wash.
  5. Chilled Satchel of Vegetables: A refreshing and replenishing treat.
  6. Updated Equipment Selections: Choose from a wide range of equipment options from Pandaria factions.

Additional Quests and Bonuses

During the Mists of Pandaria Timewalking event, Kazra in Valdrakken will offer a quest for players. This quest requires completing five Timewalking dungeons and rewards a Cache of Amirdrassil Treasures. Inside the cache, you will find a piece of non-tier gear from Normal Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope.

Furthermore, while Timewalking is active, players will receive a 50% bonus to reputations earned from quests and creature kills for all reputations associated with the Mists of Pandaria expansion.
