Zekvir's Lair Delve Tuning: Significant Adjustments to Difficulty

Blizzard has announced a series of tuning changes to the Zekvir's Lair Delve, aimed at balancing gameplay across both difficulty levels. The recent hotfixes, now live on all realms, are designed to enhance the player experience by reducing the overall challenge posed by this encounter.

Key Adjustments to Zekvir’s Lair

The adjustments include notable nerfs to Zekvir's damage and health, making the encounter more manageable for players. Here are the specific changes implemented:

  • Health and Damage Reduction

Zekvir’s health and damage output have been decreased for both difficulty settings, allowing players to tackle the challenge with greater ease.

  • Horrendous Roar Cast Time

The cast time for Zekvir's Horrendous Roar has been adjusted to 2.5 seconds for both difficulties, slightly extended from the previous 2.4 seconds and 2.25 seconds.

  • Web Terror Mechanics

    • The hatch time for Web Terrors has been increased, giving players more time to prepare for their appearance.

    • The cast time for Web Terror’s Web Blast has also been increased, providing an additional window for players to react.

    • Web Terrors will now spawn randomly within the room rather than in relation to Zekvir’s position, adding an element of unpredictability to their emergence.

  • Spittle and Regenerating Carapace Adjustments

The recast times for Spittle and Regenerating Carapace have been modified when playing solo, ensuring that they align more effectively with each specialization's interrupt cooldowns.

  • Despawn Issue Resolved

A fix has been implemented for an issue where Web Terrors would not despawn upon the conclusion of the encounter, improving the overall encounter flow.
